The increase in general public awareness of the links between the Ocean and Climate implies a better understanding of the role of the Ocean in climate regulation, and of the impacts of climate change on the Ocean.

The Ocean and Climate Platform brings together the expertise and competence of its members in order to develop messages along these two themes through education and awareness bringing tools. A working group on knowledge dissemination collaborates with the scientific Committee to provide summaries, briefing notes and short messages for the general public.
